Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
• BSN completion preferred
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser SCAL
• 12 months between Part-Time at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser SCAL
• 12 months between Per Diem at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser SCAL

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills / Experience: Two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience
Dialysis, SLED or equivalent
Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
NIHSS - Must be AHA or National Stroke Association. Must be through http://www.nihstrokescale.org if not AHA
Special Requests: You must take a 1 year break between staff and travel for ALL Kaiser facilities.
Must be able to start within 3 weeks of requested start date. ASAP start dates are required to start within 6 weeks.
Floating Requirements: This position is subject to floating to units within the clinician’s skill set.
Floating between facilities may be required between San Diego & San Diego Zion. May be asked to float to lower acuities.
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026, 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
1 reference from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
