Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.
• Trauma Level 3 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Trauma/Neuro experience
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Sepsis, Shock, Multi-organ failure, Respiratory Failure, Trauma, Neuro/brain injuries, Complicated surgeries, stroke, encephalopathy
Equipment Used on Unit: Ceiling lifts, hoyer lifts, sit to stand lifts, extensive amount of safe-patient handling equipment, Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule block / Call Requirements: None / Additional Notes: Shift: 3 or 4, 12Hr
Floating Requirements: Must be flexible to float where need, could include CICU, MS, Tele & ER
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
