Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 10 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Special Requirements:References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. All positions at Lovelace Health Facilities require New Mexico fingerprinting to be completed before their start date. This means fingerprint results will need to be obtained before the facility compliance deadline. Failure to fully complete the fingerprint requirement within three business days of accepting an assignment at Lovelace may lead to delayed results from the New Mexico DOH. In the event results are delayed, the facility may choose to push the clinician’s start date until results are in. Please remember that Lovelace is not accepting excessive RTO requests and does not allow block scheduling for travelers. RTO must be listed at time of submittal
Required skills/experience: Please note that Lovelace Health System does expect that RN’s can start their own IV’s. Please ensure that any RN’s submitted have this skill set, must be able to couplet well babies, manage labor patient and we also circulate our own cesarean section.
Preferred skills/experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience:
Shift and scheduling: Option of 36 or 48hrs, scheduling will be done to fit the needs of the unit, and may require nurses to work to cover holes in the schedule. Every other weekend
Types of patients on the unit: Neonates
Procedures/ Diagnostics/ Treatments performed on unit: Most Newborns will room in with parents as we provide couplet care. We are an LDRP Unit. I am looking for a candidate who can care for laboring patients, couplet care and triage.
