Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience in L&D, LDRP and PP care. Must be able to manage a 3 couplet assignment.
Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM ( External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
Start & Maintain Peripheral IV
Administer Antihypertensives and Insulin drips
Assist with vaginal delivery
Recover C-Section
APGAR scores, Baby Nurse ( “Baby Catcher”), Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation
Newborn Assessment
Epidural Anesthesia / Pain assessment & management
Postpartum care and Procedures as well as M/B postpartum care
Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferably in LDRP model who is trained in labor and delivery, post-partum, c-section circulation and special care nursery.
Level 1 Nursery, Mother/Baby, Circulate for C-Sections
