Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Experience:
• 36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Sunrise is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum. Call: one shift per 4 week schedule
Floating Requirements: May float to ED or MS if experienced
Required Skills/Experience: C-section experience required. Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress. Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia. Clinical background in high risk patients. Since there is NOT an in-house OB, so the nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives. Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care (they don’t always utilize their LDRPs as couplet care beds, but can do so if census is low).

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring) or the alternative certification Advanced AWHONN FHM
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
