Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 10 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy - 3 months to return as traveler

Required Credentials: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Infants, Adults

Unit/Facility Details: We do care for high-risk OB, culturally diverse population. RNs circulate on cesarean sections.

Parking Cost: Free parking on first day, assignment parking to be given during orientation

Number of Beds: 15

Special Requests: Block Schedules - No, per manager discretion.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Floating Requirements: Travelers are first to float within their scope.

Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers’ refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
