Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL

• 12 months between Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL

Required Skills/Experience: EFM interpretation skills/experience required.

IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Administration of blood and blood products, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring, Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Assist with vaginal delivery, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Episiotomy/incisional care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Wound assessment and care, Car seat education, Cord care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant identification, Newborn assessment, Teach circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Cesarean section, Couplet care, Postpartum hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal delivery, Epidural anesthesia, Pain assessment and management, Facility births/month <100, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Neonatal care in delivery room, ID/Security banding, Isolation precautions/PPE, Vaccine administration, Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of external fetal monitoring, EFM interpretation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Previous Charge Experience

Drawing venous blood, Insulin drips, Triage of obstetrical patients, Circulate for C-section, Recover C-section, Breastfeeding/lactation support, Metabolic screen, Neonatal abstinence syndrome, Newborn hypoglycemia, Multiple births, General anesthesia, Nitrous oxide, Facility births/month 100–200, Spiral electrode placement, Use of internal fetal monitoring, Use of IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Tubal ligation.

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12

Will work every third weekend.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
