Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.

• Experience with OBIX is preferred from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to circulate in OR. In addition to ensuring that our Traveler RNs are able to circulate the ORs, we also need to screen for competency in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care. Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes

Floating Requirements: Will float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a “sitter”

Unit/Facility Details: # of L&D Beds: 16 labor rooms and 9 antepartum rooms. Ratios: 1:1-2 labors, 1:2-3 antepartum.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: High-risk OB and routine obstetric care.

Equipment Used on Unit: RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: Nasal cannula

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend, but could be up to every other based on unit need. Holiday Requirements: 1 major, 1 minor

Special Requests: RTO needed upfront. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission

• Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
