Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
• ADN completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 2 + years of experience with:
Cervical exams
Infant delivery (deliveries will occasionally need the assistance of RNs while on call physician reports)
Perform duties that are consistent with the standard of care and in alignment with industry standards with minimal supervision (Not a teaching hospital, no resident physicians)
Practicing in a community hospital setting with a regional mission
Must have Charge level experience
Labor and delivery experience for labor positions. All need postpartum couplet care experience. Nursery experience in a level 2 nursery or higher acuity for SCN positions.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring, stabilization of a neonate, trouble shooting high acuity situations and good triage assessment skills
Required Credentials: AWHONN (must be renewed every 2 years) Required Education: ADN or BSN
Shift & Scheduling: Option of 13 or 26 week contract. Weekend Hours: Varies
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
