Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months between Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Preferred Skills/Experience: Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC), Facility births/month >300, Facility births/month 200-300, High Risk Antepartum, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Triage of obstetrical patients, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Cervical Cerclage, Tubal Ligation, Spiral Electrode Placement, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration

Required Credentials:

• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Floating Requirements:

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• Advanced AWHONN FHM (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring) or the alternative certification C-EFM (National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
