Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System
Required Skills/Experience: L&D, PP, and circulating experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: Triage experience
Unit/Facility Details: AWHONN guidelines for ratios: AWHONN standards (primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 couple care in PP).
Special Requests: Per hospital policy staff cannot work more than five shifts in a row. We do our best to accommodate traveler schedule requests outside of approved time off.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Based on unit needs.
• Call or standby requirement: No
Floating Requirements: Travelers required to float to like units within valley (Nampa L&D and Boise L&D). Sll sites are within approximately 20 mins of each other (mostly interstate driving) - notice is given prior to shift and can be expected but true floating to separate location is rare.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)
• Advanced AWHONN FHM (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring) or the alternative certification Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses)
