Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 18 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries.
Special Requests: No 1st time travelers, must have completed one travel contract in previous 12 mos.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled. On Call Requirements: None.
2025 Holidays:
Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving) Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked. Unit Info:
Floating Requirements: May float to MB/PP. May float across all campuses to Maternity/L&D units. Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
