Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: High risk Labor and Delivery experience needed. Perinatal Nursing (Zayed 8) MEIMMS Certified Level IV.
Required Credentials: ACLS & BLS through American Heart Association or Red Cross or one of the recognized international affiliates of the AHA or Military Training Network. NRP Advanced provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (We will also accept RQI for NRP provider status). Perinatal Nursing (Zayed 8) MEIMMS Certified Level IV.
Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population. High risk; Number of Beds. 6 Triage rooms/ 10 LDRs/ 3 Operating Rooms/ 3 PACU.
Unit/Facility Details: 1 Nurse to 1-2 Moms or 1 Nurse to 4 Couplets.
Equipments Used on Unit: EPIC (inpatient and stork).
Shift & Scheduling: 36 or 48/hour per week.
Floating Requirements: Float as needed to area of like skill set/ L&D, antepartum, postpartum, nursery and mother/baby.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required after submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)
