Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Care of the L&D patient and nursing care during delivery. This includes high risk patients. Postpartum mom and baby care. Gyn surgical postop care.
𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, vital signs monitors, OBIX documentation and centralized monitoring for L&D, EPIC for gyns.
𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁/𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 19
𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Straight Nights. Every other weekend and holiday. Willing to work nights and some days
𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Willing to float to NB nursery and NICU
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼: 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 4 gyns. combination of mom/babies and gyns = 1:5-6.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)
