Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• BSN completion preferred
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests: No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: 36 hour Contract call required: 24 hours over a 6 week period. The traveler is required to be on premises 45 minutes after they receive call.
Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend/holiday as needed
We cannot guarantee a set schedule
Floating Requirements: Required to Float to like units (i.e. Mom/Baby), travelers are required to float before permanent staff
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
