Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 10 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Unit/Facility Details: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager discretion. Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Yes Call Required: Yes. Note: potential for call, depending on census. Weekend Coverage: Every Third. Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: to meet dept needs, may increase.
Floating Requirements: Will this traveler need to float between like units? Float to post partum. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers’ refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
