Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Obstetrics and Gynecology experience.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Three (3) years of experience performing complex ob/gyn or vascular scans.

Required Credentials: - Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required. - Fetal Echo certification required. - Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in OB and OB GYN.

Unit Details: - Maternal-fetal ultrasound role performing detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, and fetal wellbeing exams including biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, and amniotic fluid assessments. - Performs needle procedure guidance and examinations of maternal pelvic anatomy, including transvaginal cervical assessment, and uses advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques. - Assists the supervising physician with invasive procedures, analyzes sonography findings in real time, and advises the radiologist and/or referring OB provider of exam results. - Provides standardization and training to residents regarding these exams.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Thu. - No weekends, holidays, or call.

7 days maximum time off
