Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience preferred.
Required Credentials: CPI/MOAB
Unit/Facility Details: The Medical Care Unit for our facility is a unit that has less acute patients that may just be awaiting placement to a long term care facility. They may be a variety of medical diagnoses. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry and Psychiatric Issues.
Shift & Scheduling: While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. Weekend rotation requirement.
Floating Requirements: The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab and nurse may have to float between the two units.
