Medical Intensive Unit Care - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System

Medical Intensive Unit Care

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Skills/Experience:

• RNs required to titrate drips: Dopamine, Epi, Norepi, Cardene, nitro, neo, vasopressin, diltiazem, insulin, esmolol.
• RN monitor and read, Spacelabs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer experience in similar size or larger ICU and hospital.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirements: Every Other or half of the weekends.
• Holiday Requirements: if there is a need, do try to work with requests.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float to other ICUs in the Valley- Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center.
• May be floated outside of ICU to be a 1:1 sitter.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
