Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:
Total-care nursing.
No dedicated telemetry assignment; remote telemetry monitoring is available, with only occasional strip reading.
Respiratory therapy is readily available; floor RNs use nasal cannula oxygen.
Patient population includes surgical services—colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic cases, plus medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions.
Cerner is used before the 11/2026 transition to Epic.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No holiday requirement.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
The float pool covers Med/Onc, 2 surgical units, and 2 medical units.
Floats to any Med/Surg pod.
Staff are assigned to need areas.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
