Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Large hospital experience.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Total-care assignments; no PCAs. Patient population includes colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic surgical services, as well as medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions. Remote telemetry monitoring; RNs read strips only occasionally. Respiratory therapy is readily available to assist; floor patients use nasal cannula oxygen. Transitions to EPIC in 11/2026.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call or standby requirement.

Floating Requirements: Assignments are made to need areas within the float pool, covering Med/Onc, 2 surgical units, and 2 medical units. Floats to any Med/Surg pod.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
