Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Large hospital experience required.

Special Requests: Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Total-care assignment with no PCAs. No tele; remote tele monitoring with only occasional strip reading. Transitioning to Epic in 11/2026. Patient population includes surgical services—colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic—and medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions. Respiratory therapy is readily available to assist with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment; floor care uses nasal cannula.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float pool between Med/Onc, 2 surgical units, and 2 medical units; floats to any Med/Surg pod.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
