Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Surgical patients include total joint, fracture, bariatric, urology, and general cases, among others; medical patients include CHF, CVA, shortness of breath, and diabetic issues.
Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment.
Telemetry is available; monitor technicians read the strips and RNs confirm them.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Every other holiday.
Call or standby is required, with LCD.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician will be first to float.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
