Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Required Skills/Experience: - Min 1 year recent MS experience in a busy large hospital, min 200 beds. - Will not take first-time travelers. Will consider first-time travelers if their primary experience is resource pool/float pool.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous float pool experience preferred.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months before submission.
Unit Details: - Head-to-toe assessments, medication administration by a variety of routes, care plan formulation/documentation, wound/line/drain care. - Uses Accudose Rx, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips vitals machines. - Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5 from 7a-11p and 1:5-6 from 11p-7a.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Floating Requirements: - Will call in daily to find out the unit assignment for that shift. - Floats within the med-surg cluster and between campuses in Fargo. - May float to all med-surg units on Broadway, SMCF, and South University campuses, including med-surg overflow spaces and med-surg status patients within the critical care units. - Med-surg specialty units include oncology, general med-surg, trauma med-surg, cardiac, neuro, observation, medical behavioral, and innovations.

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
