Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Large hospital experience required.

Unit Details:
The assignment is total care; no PCAs.
Patient population includes surgical services—colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic cases—and medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions.
Remote telemetry monitoring; only occasional strip reading.
Respiratory therapy is readily available to assist; nasal-cannula oxygen is used on the floors.
The unit is transitioning to Epic in 11/2026.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No holiday requirement.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float.
Staff are assigned to areas based on need.
Floating is to any Med-Surg pod; the float pool covers Med/Onc, two surgical units, and two medical units.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
