Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required within the last 2 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Bellin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Bellin.

Additional Details:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem is
• Ratios: PM shift 1:4/1:5 & NOC shift 1:6 occasionally 1:7
Required Credentials:
• NIHSS certification preferred for submissions, completion of cert is required prior to end of orientation. Certification provided through Bellin’s Apex Innovations, at no charge to the traveler.
• Associate Degree or Certificate
Shift & Scheduling:
• PM/NOC Variables (must be flexible) Pm shift is 3pm-11:30pm and 8 hr night shift is 11pm-7:30am
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: none
Floating Requirements: Traveler will be floating as needed within skillset to observation unit, Cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab and/or transitional care unit and gaining their comfort surrounding this. Facility will try and keep them in 1-2 like units, but have the potential to float to another unit.
14 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 7
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
