Medical Surgical Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience within the past 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: FocusOne Program - Asante

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Skills may include anything from Surgical (Ortho, Neuro, CV, etc.): Family Practice, Cardiology, Geriatrics, etc. Expert IV skills and general medical surgical nursing skills with at least 2 years experience. ATRMC has 3 M/S floors, Ortho/Neuro, Medical Cardiac and Medical Adult/Pediatrics.
• Excellent IV skills.

Unit and facility details: Nurse to patient ratio 5-6:1 on days, 6-7 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Needed are 2 RN’s working 3-12 hour shifts per week, One for the night shift and 1 for the day shift.
• Dayshift starts at 0645-1915. Night shift starts at 1845-0715.
• Every other weekend required when scheduled.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
