Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience within the past 4 years.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience &1 travel assignment OR 4 years of experience w/o travel.
Required Credentials: ASLS, NIHSS (ICU/ED).
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common diagnosis / Types of patients: See other areas.
Unit/Facility Details: 483 Bed Main Campus 124 Bed North Campus.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other. Call Requirement On call low census. Holidays Rotate with Permanent Staff. Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift.
Floating Requirements: MedSurg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care and JFW. ICU/ED floats to Cardiology, ICU, ED.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
