Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Required Skills and Experience: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Endocrine/Metabolic

Preferred Skills and Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. Accessing/Managing Ports, CVA/Acute Stroke management, IV insulin protocols.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. Government-Issued Photo ID. Drivers License/State ID. BLS ACLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: 36 or 48 Hr. Every Other Weekend.

Special Request Requirements: RTO Restrictions: All requests must be included with the submission. Housing: IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living. Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

5 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
