Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1930 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with acute trauma and neuro patients preferred.

Unit Details:
The unit provides trauma and medical-surgical ICU care.
Typical procedures include insertion of arterial lines, central lines, dialysis catheters, and chest tubes; massive transfusion (MTP); percutaneous tracheostomy placement; emergent procedures including opening of the chest cavity or abdomen, burr holes, and EVD placement; and ICP monitoring.
Equipment includes EV1000, Tablo, Cortrak, Codman, and Level I Rapid Transfuser.

Shift & Scheduling:
The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required
