Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:
Med/Surg experience required.
ICU and Med/Surg competence is required.

Unit Details:
The case mix is medical and surgical patients such as joint replacements and general surgical patients.
COVID patients are located at one end of the unit, with other patients in the remaining rooms.

Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Riverview.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Holiday rotation.
Observed holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
No requirements for additional on-call or back-up.
Travelers may be placed on call for low-census hours.
Additional shifts may be available to pick up for sick calls, etc.
No more than 7 days of RTO will be accommodated.
Contract hours are not guaranteed during orientation week.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
