Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Patient population includes congestive heart failure (CHF), hypertension, chest-pain workups, COPD exacerbations, asthma, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable or set-rate drips include analgesics for pain, anticoagulants for blood clots, and antihypertensives for blood pressure control. RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilators.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling and block scheduling are available. Full- and part-time employees are expected to self-schedule 6-9 weekend shifts per six-week schedule, aligning with department needs, unit staffing plans, and equitable distribution among all staff. Holiday shifts are required. Call or standby requirements are determined by the nurse manager. Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if the first day’s modules are remote.
Floating Requirements: The clinician is first to float; in an extreme need, the clinician may float within Zone 1, as determined by the nurse manager and department needs.
