Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: PCU experience is not required; will accept MS/Tele experience only. Must meet experience requirements within 3 recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of oncology experience preferred, but not required. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facility if you have an active application to any Ohio State University facility.
Unit Details: Mixed acuity PCU/MS Tele unit caring for medical oncology patients. Adult and geriatric patient population. Variety of diagnoses from solid tumors to some blood cancers. High-acuity patient population. Rare pediatric patients may present, though they are typically cared for by permanent staff. Chemotherapy competence is not required for the unit; a 2-day chemo course is available for training if interested.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-schedule requests; preferred schedule is entered before balancing and final posting. First week of orientation is Mon-Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor. Weekend shifts are variable.
Floating Requirements: Required to float to other MS Tele units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
