Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Med-surg experience required. Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required. Administration of chemotherapy, accessing/managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, PICC line care, starting and maintaining IVs, antibiotics, antiemetics, Foley catheter insertion/management, isolation precautions, telemetry interpretation, and telemetry monitoring.
Special Requests: No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. BMT oncology unit caring for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma patients, including management of complications from blood cancers (GVHD, etc.). Auto stem cell transplants. Chemotherapy administration.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required.
Floating Requirements: Floating is required throughout the oncology department within the service line as needed and will be to the unit with the greatest need per shift. Clinicians will not always be working specifically on unit 9800.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
