Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

• 36 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years recent experience in Heme/Onc/BMT; level 1 trauma or similar size hospital required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Inpatient hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care unit. Cares for acutely ill patients undergoing bone marrow transplant, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapies (CAR T), as well as end-of-life patients. Common diagnoses include leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumor cancers, and complications such as graft-versus-host disease. Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, assisting with stem cell transplant procedures and bone marrow biopsies, administering blood products, accessing central lines and ports, and performing head-to-toe assessments. Involvement in evidence-based therapies, research studies, quality improvement initiatives, and practice change.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays on rotation.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
