Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity.
Required Credentials: - Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation covering skills learned; must score 90% to pass.
Preferred Credentials: - Oncology certification preferred.
Unit Details: - General medical/surgical patients with a specialty in post-op cancer intervention, including prostatectomy and mastectomy. - Travelers are not required to administer chemotherapy due to internal competency requirements. - Titrates drips including heparin, lidocaine, and TPN gtt. - Telemetry with central monitoring; RNs are expected to notice changes.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every 3rd weekend. - Rotating holidays. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Rare floating; if needed, only to other medical/surgical units.
Required Skills: - RNs required to titrate drips - RN to notice changes
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
