Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring required. Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.
Unit Details: 17 James cares for all solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and transition to end-of-life care. Cares for patients with true med-surg issues. Adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, plus encounters for antineoplastic chemotherapy. Tools/equipment used in daily work: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends are variable based on unit needs. If you accept a 12 D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for nights or a mix of shifts based on department priorities. Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period. Self-schedule requests: you will enter your schedule requests before the final schedule is balanced and posted.
Floating Requirements: Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
