Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting, 250+ beds
Preferred Skills/Experience: Travel experience preferred. Inpatient oncology experience preferred; hematology and bone marrow transplant experience would be a bonus.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotating, every other weekend, every other holiday, 12-hour shifts. Will not work alone, no call required.
Floating Requirements: Other med-surg units at Broadway, with potential floating to other Fargo med-surg units at Med Center or South.
Special Requests: Cannot take any travelers living within a 60 mile radius of the facility. Local travel rate applies to candidates living 60 to 80 miles from the facility. May be assigned to medically complex hematology/oncology patients needing blood products, antibiotics, and symptom/side effect management. If trained to administer chemotherapy, could be assigned accordingly. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Eligibility as current/previous employee: Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
