Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required within the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Travel Teams must have their own vehicles.
Unit Details: Uses Phillips telemetry; RN interprets EKGs. BiPAP and CPAP. Charge nurse support has a light patient assignment and includes an oncology resource RN. 85% oncology patients and 15% tele med-surg; surgical, medical, and oncology patients.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Holidays worked into rotation based on unit overage.
Floating Requirements: ER float positions require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established; however, this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly assigned to. A schedule will be made in advance so clinicians are aware of which location they will be reporting to. Float to other Med-Surg/Tele units.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
