Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2350 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with indwelling drain removal and PICC line care/dressing changes is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
At least 1 travel contract completed preferred.

Required Credentials:
Associate degree or certificate required.

Special Requests:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Unit Details:
The unit serves orthopedic and neurological patients.
The patient ratio is 1:6, and 1:7 after 2300.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Holiday rotation.
Holiday grouping: 2024 holidays are 4th of July (7/3), Labor Day (9/1), Christmas Day (12/25), and New Year's Eve (12/31).
No call.
Hours are not assured during orientation week or when the unit is closed for holidays.

Floating Requirements:
Candidate may float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units as needed.
Floating to units and facilities may be required based on census; the employee should not be asked to work outside their clinical skills without approval from the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
