Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $3130 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 24 months (2 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. Must have telemetry experience. Experience with chest tubes is required. Experience with tubes is required. Experience with drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone is required. Experience with lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients is required. Experience with trachs/laryngectomies is required. Experience with complex wounds is required. Experience with central lines, including care, maintenance, and blood draws, is required.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.

Unit Details: The unit cares primarily for adult orthopedic and trauma patients, as well as patients from plastics and general surgery. Mobilizing and rehabilitating patients is the main goal.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation with 19:00:00-07:00:00 night shifts and 07:00:00-19:00:00 day shifts. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. On-call is required.

7 days maximum time off
