Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >70 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - SSM Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: - No locals accepted. - RTO must be submitted with application. RTO after confirmation at manager discretion.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Patient population includes GSWs, MVCs, slips, trips, falls, traction, chest tubes, trachs, SCI, PEG tubes, and wound vacs. - Trauma nursing role includes coordinating resources (multiple orders, consulting services, etc.), performing serial assessments and identifying changes, analyzing trends in patient assessments, determining priorities, and documentation, including assessments, interventions, reassessments, significant events, and communication with the trauma team.
Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Every other weekend required. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Floating to MS and all hospital care areas to care for patients within scope. This includes ED to care for admitted MS holds and the ICU to care for MS holds.
