Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Insulin, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID. BLS ACLS must be AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.
Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Weekend shifts per contract: Half of scheduled shifts
Floating Requirements: Float Required to units of equal or lesser acuity
Unit and Facility Details: If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.
