Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - MidAmerica Division.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg or Tele type unit experience required.
Unit Details: Orthopedics and spine specialty unit caring for patients with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions including stroke and head injuries, and trauma. Uses traction, external fixators, halos, walkers, gait belts, bed alarms, continuous pulse ox, and remote telemetry monitoring. Wound care and dressing changes performed on unit. Staff check out an iPhone 7 each shift to use Mobile Heartbeat (iMobile) for team communication, caregiver lookup, and viewing lab results.
Shift & Scheduling: Night shift is 1845-0715. Rotate through every 3rd weekend, sometimes every other if LOA.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
