Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - $1220 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• GED completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: EKG exam required; medication portion of the standard EKG exam is not required.

Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 13 - 16 weeks.

Unit Details: 3 East MS/Tele unit with a primary focus on neurology. Cares for neuro/neurosurgical, cardiac, renal, and med/surg patients, including post-cath without intervention, stable arrhythmias, post-pacemakers, syncope, and chronic renal failure. Drips: Heparin. Oxygen support includes stable trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow; no ventilators. Max O2 requirement is 6L. Team nursing model: 1 RN takes 5 patients and 1 LPN takes 5 patients, with a tech per team; goal is to have charge out of ratio. Patient population spans neonates through geriatrics.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend and every other holiday.
