Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: -Skills: Emergency Department, MS/Tele, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Feeding tube care and management, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, IM & SQ, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Ambulation, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions, Vital Sign monitoring
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous charge experience preferred.
Unit Details: - Overflow unit for several months to accommodate ED boarder patients; this will be a med/surg telemetry unit. - Flex space inside GI Endoscopy; patient volume may increase or decrease depending on demand and boarder numbers. - LPN may not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg. - SBAR is used for ED patients; verbal report is expected for other transfers and admissions.
Special Requests: - Minimal RTO please.
Shift & Scheduling: - They will try to accommodate block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed. - Every other weekend. - On-call dependent on staffing needs.
Floating Requirements: - Based on turn, would float to care for med/surg patients.
