Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Community Hospital Experience. IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Respiratory, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, and Endocrine/Metabolic.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, PICC line management, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Telemetry, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Seizure disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Feeding tube care and management, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Heparin Protocols, PCA, IV insulin protocols, and Titration of Insulin drips.
Required Credentials: ONS/ONCC. Pass/Fail Exam required for all clinical candidates except for: Behavioral Health, OR, RRTs, CNAs, remote Telephone Triage positions, Transitional Skilled Unit, and Outpatient Infusion RNs. This is required for clearance; candidates will only have 3 attempts to pass. A 3rd attempt will result in an automatic cancellation. There is no clinical remediation approved for this hospital system.
Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. Please ensure your traveler does not have any time off planned that will prevent them from completing pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date. Block Scheduling cannot be accommodated. Interview Availability – Please provide a range of 3-5 days for potential interview times (travelers with provided interview times will be prioritized)
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend. Holiday Requirement: Every Other Holiday.
