Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Saint Luke’s and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Saint Luke’s.

Required Skills/Experience: - Community hospital experience is required. - MS/Tele, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry - on the unit monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, heparin protocols, manage cardiac drips - no titration, PCA, CVA (cerebrovascular accident), total joint replacements, surgical drains, chest tubes - Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care/management, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.
Required Credentials: - You must have a MO license and be in the process of applying for a KS license, or vice versa, or you must have compact licensure to apply.
Special Requests: - If requesting 7 days of RTO, the expectation is that the missed time is made up.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - General intermediate population including sepsis/infection, wounds, CHF, cardiac arrhythmias, AMI, CVA/TIA, altered mental status, ETOH withdrawal, SI, general post-op, ortho, urology procedures, and GI bleed.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend requirement: 4-6 shifts every 6 weeks. - No call. - RTO: No more than 7 days.
Floating Requirements: - Will float within scope to meet facility needs, within the service line and to sister facilities as needed.
