Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
• ASN completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Required Skills/Experience:
• General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps, mobilizing patient post-op, back and neck brace use
• Skilled in assessing and managing acute and chronic pain, including with those with a history of substance abuse. Will use multiple modalities to help alleviate pain, including opioid administration
• Must be comfortable with post-op neuro and spine care, including providing education to patient and family
• Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF

Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: Every other
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: No Call
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Floating Requirements:
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – decline if not agreeable

▪ Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) – could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
▪ Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital
▪ Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission
