Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Length of Assignment: 13-16 week contract
Previous Employment Requirements: Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
Required Skills/Experience:
Required Skills: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Respiratory, Tracheostomy care/management, Administration of Chemotherapy, IV STARTS, TELE
Preferred Skills: Nocturnal CPAP/BiP
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
Patient Diagnoses: Head and Neck cancers, Neuro-oncology, Brain tumors
Special Procedures: Tracheostomy care including suctioning, general trach care and changing the inner cannula
Drain management - JP, Hemovacs
Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics
Equipment Used on Unit: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds
Unit/Facility Details: Mixed Acuity - PCU and MS patients

Floating Requirements: Float to other MedSurg Oncology units

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time. You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application.
